The Menzingers Austin reviews
The gates were supposed to open at 5pm, but they didn't open until around 5:45pm. We were not allowed to go to our seats until around 7:15pm. The crowd was let in while they were still doing sound check. I was not happy with having to wait until after 7:30pm for a show to start when it was scheduled to start at 6pm. The artist all had issues with the malfunctioning sound system/microphones. DJ Reborn, the house DJ, had the house entertained and up on their feet. Busta Rhymes had the place rocking. The Menzingers did their thing until the house lights cut on and their music was cut off; they didn't seem happy about that as they walked off stage. The other 3 performers, Bambaata Marley, David East, and Santigold, performed for about 15-25 minutes. I did not like the fact that they didn't come out until 10:17pm and they cut them off at 11pm.
